You’ve written a compelling piece that corroborates many of the thoughts I’ve had trouble putting into a cohesive statement that validates a clear balanced Scriptural basis for the current Political climate in America. Thank you Chris.
Thank you, Steve, that's very kind. I definitely sweated about this one, and lost plenty of sleep, thinking things through as best I could. I did not want to not say something. God's blessings!
I am not far off from what you have written. You have done a masterful job at speaking truth without an edge of aggrandizement or self promotion. In my ministry, I try to preach righteousness toward God, love toward fellow believers and compassion for those outside the fold. Thank you for your clarity. I hope that I am not out of line should I share this piece.
Thank you, John. It was a tough piece to write just right - being forthright about my priorities, but respectful of those who see things a bit differently, when it comes to their vote. So, yes, please do share as you see fit. I mean it as a public pieces. Blessings on your ministry!
Thank you for this! You strike the right balance between Christian freedom and binding of consciences on issues upon which people of good faith may disagree. Especially concerning casting votes in our democratic society. May God give you peace as we live through these trying times! You are one of the lights!
Whew. Me too, I think. Even more helpful was worship and the Supper this morning. Christ's kingdom will prevail, both here and across the world. Peace and blessings to you! Miss y'all.
Courageous, insightful, masterfully written, with such a clear minded pastor’s heart. Worthy of being circulated and read wisely. Thankful for leadership like this in the church.
